How can you use “accents” in a sentence? Here are some example sentences to help you improve your vocabulary:

  • Their mothers, who surrounded the field, terrified our mothers by abusing the referees in thick Slavic accents.

  • Modern designers such as Christian Lacroix and John Galliano--and especially Jean-Paul Gaultier--overthrew '60s ideology to reinstate the corset, using them as sexy accents in the early '90s.
