The mean total OSCE score of 57% ± 6% in our study compares favorably with results from one report on second-year students (52 ± 6%) [ 36 ] , a report on clinical clerks (57 ± 4%) [ 33 ] , and a study of third-year medicine students (58%) [ 3 ] , but less favorably with another report on second-year students, 70% [ 12 ] . None of these studies adjusted their student scores.
