Example sentences for: over-represented

How can you use “over-represented” in a sentence? Here are some example sentences to help you improve your vocabulary:

  • The two ethylene-related motifs (GCC-box and EIN3), and the drought-response element (DRE), AtMyb1, AtMyb2 and AtMyb3 motifs were not statistically significantly over-represented in the promoters of genes identified by the stress cDNA collection.
