We have also tested synovial fluid from patients with various types of arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, gout, and ankylosing spondylitis, for the presence of the monocyte/macrophage maturation-promoting fragment, mactinin.
