How can you use “souqs” in a sentence? Here are some example sentences to help you improve your vocabulary:

  • If you want to take home memories as well as souvenirs try the souqs (traditional covered markets), where bargaining is the name of the game.

  • Other places with interesting souqs are the Arab towns of Akko, Bethlehem, Nazareth, and the Druse villages near Haifa (see page 53).
