How can you use “seine” in a sentence? Here are some example sentences to help you improve your vocabulary:

  • In the corner near the Seine, facing place de la Concorde, the Orangerie is known for its two oval rooms with Monet’s beautiful Nymphéas (Water Lilies) murals, but see, too, the fine collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist paintings upstairs (see page 71).
