How can you use “screenings” in a sentence? Here are some example sentences to help you improve your vocabulary:

  • For example, consider data from the Health Insurance Plan of Greater New York (HIP) Study [ 12 ] in which approximately 62,000 women were randomized to either no screening or an invitation for four annual breast cancer screenings.

  • The estimated mortality reduction in the screening program is similar to the PSE estimates (Figure 2) because the long-duration of screening (5 annual or 3 biennial screenings followed by 3-5 years hiatus followed by 5 annual or 3 biennial screenings) in the trial approximated the 21 years of periodic screening.
