Certain morphological features help to differentiate melanoma cells and other non-melanoma cells such as S100 immunoreactive dendritic cells in sentinel lymph nodes.

  • However, care should be taken to not include any antibody that may immunostain other non-melanoma cells in the sentinel lymph nodes.
