How can you use “liked” in a sentence? Here are some example sentences to help you improve your vocabulary:

  • In the fall of 2000, KSM had sent Moussaoui to Malaysia for flight training, but Moussaoui did not find a school he liked.

  • Keyes accused McCain of "aiding and abetting cultural murder" for saying he liked such music.

  • I liked Cook for giving Eleanor's Revenge a nice fat chapter near the start of this volume.

  • American expatriates such as Hemingway, Gertrude Stein, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and John dos Passos liked the free-living atmosphere and added to the mystique themselves (see opposite page).

  • First, because people prefer some wines to others and because many of the words are value-laden, subjects who like a wine used terms to describe it that differed from the words of those who did not like it: a subject who liked a light wine would not select a negative term like thin .
