How can you use “crowds” in a sentence? Here are some example sentences to help you improve your vocabulary:

  • Blair Witch , by contrast, had a strictly limited release, playing to sell-out crowds in big cities in its first week, opening at a few more select theaters in its second week, and expanding to just 1,100 screens in its third.

  • Go in May or October, if you can — the crowds at Easter and from June to September can be horrible (May and October are hardly better, but are at least a bit cooler).
